LAS VEGAS — Chem-Dry, the world’s largest carpet cleaning franchise with more than 3,500 franchise locations in 46 countries, honored its global partners at its annual convention and singled out a South African couple and a Danish businessman for awards.
International Franchisee of the Year
Frank and Julie Neto, owners of Sandton Chem-Dry near Johannesburg, were named International Franchisee of the Year during the event, held Jan. 26-29 in Las Vegas. The Netos have been Chem-Dry franchise owners for two decades, and own three franchises serving customers in areas surrounding Johannesburg.
“Both the Management and Staff of the Chem-Dry Sandton team were absolutely delighted just to be nominated for this award, winning the award was a very, very proud moment for us all. It was with sheer delight that Julie and I announced to our staff that not only was this award coming to South Africa – It was coming to our office! A very big thank you to all involved in the nomination and selection process, we were truly thrilled just to be named on this prestigious list.” –Frank Neto
Master Franchisee of the Year
Chem-Dry also honored a master franchisee at the convention: Thomas Hanke. Master franchisees own the rights to the Chem-Dry brand within the entire country, and use the tools and systems developed by Chem-Dry in the United States to help entrepreneurs start businesses worldwide.
Chem-Dry named Hanke the International Master Franchisee of the Year for 2015. Hanke supports Chem-Dry franchisees in Denmark and Sweden and has worked with his franchisees to turn Chem-Dry into the preferred choice for commercial office cleaning in Scandinavia.
“I was thrilled and surprised to receive the award this year. I now proudly present it together with my other awards”. –Thomas Hanke
